L'Artisan Parfumeur Unisex Perfume Campaign

This was a group project for L'Artisan Parfumeur in Paris. They decided to launch their very first unisex line. They needed to appeal to a new audience, so we took a fresh, younger approach with our marketing concepts. We referenced the most modern bottle shape they had used in the past, and gave it a new flavor. Each member was responsible for a single scent, but contributed to the campaign in various ways.

My scent is Pont Marie. It is the bridge in Paris where lovers affix locks to the bridge to seal their love forever.
I was also responsible for the guerilla marketing concept and execution of "Steam City". The concept was to release the scent of the fragrance and colored steam through manholes in various places within the city.

The viral ad was also my concept and execution. In short, a man wakes up from a one night stand and finds the unisex scent in the medicine cabinet. He uses this to mask the scents of a debaucherous evening and heads to work. At the end of the day he gets on the elevator with a beautiful woman. He smells so good that she asks him out. The fragrance saved the day!

Finally, I developed the web portion for this campaign. I used their existing webpages, but altered the content to fit the new line. Also, I came up with the contest concept. The winner receives a trip to Paris, to visit the four sites the fragrances are named after, as well as participate in the promotion of the new line.
